Testing Manager - 12-month FTC

Slough (Head Office) with some travel to our UK sites and the Intersnack HQ in Dusseldorf

Hybrid (minimum of 2 days per week on site)

 

Join our snack-loving team! We’re looking for a Testing Manager to join KP Snacks as part of a major transformational IT project. Fancy being part of a group where your ideas matter and your growth is celebrated? Keep reading – this might just be your next adventure! 

This is a unique opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of testing activities for our UK business, working closely with our central project team and colleagues across sites.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that testing is thorough, well-documented, and delivered on time. This includes creating plans, managing resources and logistics, identifying risks, and co-ordinating defect resolution. As the main point of contact for testing in the UK, you’ll represent our business in wider project discussions, making sure our needs are reflected in the overall plan.

You’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders – from local workstream leads to central teams – helping to embed new processes and systems. This is a fantastic chance to develop your project and stakeholder management skills while playing a key role in delivering change across our organisation.

What will you be doing? 

  • Lead the testing plan and delivery for the UK, making sure all testing activities are well planned, resourced and run to a high standard

  • Collaborate with the central testing team and UK workstream leads to create test scripts, align on requirements, and ensure UK-specific business needs are built into the testing approach

  • Bring people together across teams, working with site leaders, project colleagues and external partners to deliver testing that supports our transition to new systems and processes

  • Identify risks and issues early on, acting as the escalation point for defects and working with others to co-ordinate resolution so that we stay on track

  • Create opportunities for learning and improvement, documenting testing outcomes, sharing insights, and helping embed new ways of working that will shape our future

Job requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience: 

  • Experience of leading or co-ordinating testing as part of large-scale IT or ERP system rollouts, ideally within a manufacturing or operational business

  • Strong project management, planning and organisational skills that help keep teams focused and testing activity on track

  • Confident working with different stakeholders at all levels, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach that brings people with you

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and MS Office, with the ability to learn and apply new tools and systems as needed

  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset that reflects KP’s values – you’re driven by teamwork, change and delivering impact
