Potato Stores Team Member 

Billingham (Home of McCoy’s, Wheat Crunchies, pombear and more…) 

Shifts: Five-week rotation working 12-hour shifts to provide 24/7 coverage. The pattern includes seven day shifts and seven night shifts (a total of 14 shifts), with the potential for up to three additional stand-by shifts during the cycle, followed by nine consecutive days off.

About the role
Join our high-performing team in a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operation running smoothly, 24/7. You’ll be responsible for operating forklift trucks, managing goods in and out, and supporting vital stock and quality processes. You’ll work to the highest safety, hygiene and operational standards, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring accurate stock control. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll have the chance to work closely with your team, develop your skills, and make a real impact every day.

What will you be doing?

  • Operating forklift trucks to load/unload trailers and manage stock movement.

  • Taking ownership of oil deliveries, measurements and documentation.

  • Collaborating closely with your team to maintain high operational and hygiene standards.

  • Supporting continuous improvement activities that directly impact performance and efficiency.

  • Expanding your knowledge across multiple operational areas through training and development.
