About the role
As a Line Lead at KP Snacks, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality production. Responsible for people, plant, product and process performance, you’ll lead a manufacturing team to achieve operational targets while creating a positive, engaged and high-performing culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive performance, solve problems, coach colleagues and continuously improve ways of working. You'll take ownership of daily production delivery, ensuring quality, safety, service and cost targets are achieved while supporting the development of your team.

Working closely with colleagues across Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, you’ll help identify opportunities to reduce losses, improve efficiency and deliver excellent results for our customers.

What will you be doing?

• Leading and developing your team by setting clear expectations, coaching colleagues, conducting performance reviews and creating a culture focused on engagement, accountability and continuous improvement

• Driving daily production performance by managing output, quality, safety and cost targets, responding to operational challenges and ensuring efficient use of labour, equipment and materials

• Delivering operational excellence through effective planning, loss elimination and continuous improvement activities that improve line performance and reduce inefficiencies

• Ensuring compliance and high standards by maintaining food safety, quality, health and safety and hygiene standards while promoting a strong safety-first culture

• Collaborating across the site with Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders to resolve issues, improve performance and consistently deliver Right First Time production

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

• Strong understanding of food manufacturing – Experience in a similar role ensures confidence in maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

• Leadership and problem-solving skills – Ability to coach and guide a team, fostering a safety-first and customer-focused culture while tackling challenges with logical solutions.

• Proven success in delivering results – Track record of achieving production KPIs and SLAs, demonstrating adaptability and accountability in a dynamic setting.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma – While desirable, this expertise is an opportunity for growth and continuous improvement. Applicants with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged.
