Marketing Manager - Hula Hoops, Lighter Snacking & The Hundred

Slough - hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)

As Marketing Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

Manage and lead the growth of a fantastic portfolio of fun family snacking brands, including the highest RSV brand in KP Snacks ‘Hula Hoops’, plus our Lighter Snacking brands Pom Bear, Skips, and Penn State pretzels. This role also leads our major sports sponsorship with The Hundred – an innovative cricket based platform, now coming into its 4th year and enjoying huge success. Leading a team of 3 (including 2 direct reports) towards shaping and landing plans across these areas.


As Marketing Manager, some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for Hula Hoops + Lighter snacking portfolio with a combined RSV of £280m
  • Lead the strategic partnership for The Hundred and relationship with ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board)
  • Create 3 year strategic direction and an in-year growth plan, along with an aligned business roadmap to achieve business goals
  • · Define the brand positioning and lead approval process
  • Accountable for brand communication strategy & execution, building strong relationships with agency partners (incl. ATL, BTL, Design, PR)
  • Accountable for MAPEX budget towards excellent execution of key projects
  • Champion the consumer, and leverage category & customer insights
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead new product launches.
  • Lead & coach development of team of 3, including 2x direct reports
  • Focus on talent and capability development, fully embracing inclusion and diversity
  • Leads for Profit margin expansion
  • Creates a vision & roadmap for our People & Planet objectives
  • Builds a performance driven culture

Job requirements

Essential knowledge, skills and experience required in order to be considered:

  • Previous experience at Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager level
  • Line management experience
  • Proven experience and capability in shaping and delivering brand plans
  • High level of competency within Innovation Management, Brand Positioning, Packaging Development, Creative Development, Market Data Analytics and Agency Management
