Join our snack-loving team! We're looking for a Hygiene Team Member to join our team at KP Snacks. Fancy being part of a group where your ideas matter and your growth is celebrated? Keep reading – this might just be your next adventure! 

This is a hands-on role that supports the wider team by ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld in all areas of the facility.

Your responsibilities will include cleaning corridors, stairwells, locker rooms, offices, meeting rooms, kitchen and canteen spaces, and toilet facilities. You'll also be responsible for replenishing essential supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, as well as managing stock levels of cleaning materials. External areas and walkways also form part of the cleaning route.

This role is vital to the day-to-day running of the site and supports both health & safety and colleague wellbeing. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and have great attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.

What will you be doing? 

• Keep the site spotless by actively cleaning floors, corridors, stairwells, locker rooms, and external walkways to a high standard.

• Take on the challenge of maintaining hygiene across multiple areas, including canteens, kitchens, offices, and toilets – helping the site stay clean, safe, and welcoming.

• Work closely with colleagues by supporting shared spaces and helping everyone enjoy a clean and well-maintained environment.

• Play a vital role in health and safety by managing waste, replenishing cleaning supplies, and ensuring essential facilities are stocked and functional.

• Gain experience in stock control and site hygiene standards, with the opportunity to develop knowledge in cleaning processes and site operations.

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience: 

• You bring a solid understanding of hygiene and cleaning standards, ideally with experience in a manufacturing or food production environment, where attention to cleanliness and detail is key.

• Your ability to work independently while contributing to a small, close-knit team makes you a valuable team player, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Experience using cleaning tools and handling chemicals is an advantage, and transferable skills such as manual handling, self-motivation, and reliability will help you thrive in this role.

• Holding Food Safety, Health & Safety, or COSHH Level 2 is a bonus, but not essential – we welcome candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn, and training will be provided where needed.
